JULY IS THE SEASON FOR FESTIVAL FUN:

URBAN CRAFT UPRISING AT SEATTLE STREET FOOD FESTIVAL – JULY 6TH – 7TH – DOWNTOWN – FREE Urban Craft Uprising is an organization that helps build local craft events in the PNW, on July 6th, see amazing crafts at the Seattle Street Food Festival! Free admission and family-friendly.

SEATTLE FRIDA FEST – JULY 6TH – 12PM – 6PM – BURIEN – FREE Join Colectiva Noroeste presenting the 2nd annual Seattle Frida Fest, a celebration of the life and art of Frida Kahlo. Using the Burien Community Center for our Frida Fest and Pop Up Mercado, there will be 30+ artists/crafters/vendors and a Frida inspired Art Show. Plus live performances & entertainment including Las Lunas: A Living Gallery Walk, family activities, and food vendors.

MUSIC/FILM: ANNIVERSARY OF THE CURE – JULY 11TH – 7PM – SIFF CINEMA UPTOWN – $9-14 Take a magical trip through time with The Cure‘s 40th anniversary concert film at this special one-night-only event. In THE CURE – ANNIVERSARY 1978-2018, the band takes the stage on a perfect July evening in London’s Hyde Park to deliver a set of songs celebrating four decades of music making.

WEST SEATTLE SUMMER FEST – JULY 12TH – 14TH – FREE The 37th Annual West Seattle Summer Fest is happening in the West Seattle Junction. This FREE 3-day party in the streets celebrates West Seattle as a thriving music and arts community and is family-friendly. 

SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL BEER FEST – JULY 12TH – 14TH -DOWNTOWN –  $5 – $45 Seattle International Beerfest is a 3-day specialty beer festival held at Seattle Center, featuring 200+ world-class beers from everywhere.

POLISH FESTIVAL – SATURDAY JULY 13TH – SEATTLE CENTER – FREE Polish Festival Seattle is a celebration of Polish culture, traditions, and achievements. All are welcome! Featuring authentic Polish food, live music and dance performances, exhibits, demos and workshops, children’s activities, local merchants, vodka tasting, and beer garden.

CAPITOL HILL BLOCK PARTY – JULY 19TH – 21ST –  $70-300 The Capitol Hill Block Party is one of the largest music concerts of the year! Watch musicians like Lizzo and Phantogram bring the figurative house down.

SEQUIM LAVENDER FESTIVAL – JULY 19TH – 21ST – SEQUIM The street fair will be held again this year at Carrie Blake Park, 500 North Blake Avenue. The world class street fair, lavender farm festivals and events, and a host of community events make the Sequim Lavender Weekend one of the biggest lavender celebrations in the country.

SUMMER CONCERT AT THE BALLARD LOCKS – JULY 20TH – 2-4PM Join the Kirkland Civic Orchestra on the lawn at the Ballard Locks for an informal outdoor concert featuring works celebrating space and cinema. 

2019 BON ODORI FESTIVAL – JULY 20TH – 21ST – FREE At the Seattle Betsuin Buddhist Temple there will be food, entertainment, cultural exhibits, traditional Japanese dance, culture, live music & more. Celebrating 87 years in the Puget Sound region! Seattle Bon Odori is a proud Seafair Sanctioned Community Event. 

NATSU MATSURI OUTDOOR SUMMER FESTIVAL – JULY 20TH – JULY 21ST -INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT – FREE Closing South Weller Street (behind Uwajimaya) for the annual Natsu Matsuri Outdoor Summer Festival. Join us for this family friendly event featuring live entertainment, eating contests, games and over 15 food booths! 

SHIPWRECK FEST 2019 – SATURDAY, JULY 20TH – ANACORTES – FREE Nearly 40 years ago, commercial fishermen sold their used gear in downtown Anacortes. Today, that same sale has transformed into one of the largest community garage sales in the state! With over 400 booths, this event includes antiques and flea market-style vendors with unique items to sell. There’s something for everyone at the annual Shipwreck Fest!

BITE OF SEATTLE – JULY 20TH – 22ND – SEATTLE CENTER Voted “Best Food Festival” 2016 and 2017, Bite of Seattle is Seattle’s Original Food and Beverage Showcase featuring 60+ restaurants, pop-up vendors, Craft Beer and Cider Tasting, 90+ live bands, outdoor beer gardens, live cooking demonstrations and cook-off battles and more!

BELLEVUE ARTS FAIR– JULY 26TH – 28TH – 11AM – 7PM- BELLEVUE – FREE! Celebrating 73 years in the making, Bellevue Arts Museum hosts the largest, award-winning arts & crafts festival in the Northwest. There will be over 300 inspiring artists showcasing unique, handmade craft and art. This marketplace represents modern, traditional, and emerging work.

SWEET TOOTH POP UP – JULY 27TH – 11AM – 4PM – SOUTH LAKE UNION 3rd annual Sweet Tooth pop-up brings Seattle’s favorite Makers our for a deliciously sweet showcase curbside to South Lake Union. Come sample our city’s favorite sweets! 

KEXP KIRKLAND SUMMERFEST 2019 – JULY 26TH – 28TH – KIRKLAND WATERFRONT The 8th annual Kirkland Summerfest returns July 26 – 28th, 2019! This three-day tour de force boasts incredible live performances, lakeside entertainment venues, purveyors of fine foods, local beers and wines, kids rides, and interactive activities. With over 35,000 attendees, Summerfest is Kirkland’s signature event of the year.
